Joint filler

Advantages:

Applications:

• It is suitable for filling and coating cracks as well as smoothing and preparing plasterboards prior to painting.
• Filling and grouting plasterboards combined with joint tapes
• Fills gaps and imperfections on plaster and gypsum surfaces and constructions.

Instructions for use:

• Surfaces must be dry and clean from dust, grease, loose particles and other contamination. For deeper cracks or joints application of water-based primer ISOCRYL PRIMER DUR AQUA is recommended.

Smoothing surfaces:

• Apply filler with a spatula in two layers
• Allow the first coat to dry before applying the second

Grouting and gar filling:

• Place the self-sticking tape along the joint or crack
• Apply filler with a spatula in two layers
• Allow the first coat to dry before applying the second
• If a non-self-sticking tape is used apply a first layer of filler along the joint
• While the product is still fresh place the tape along the joint and press it into the filler
• Allow the first coat to dry and follow with the second layer
• Allow the second coat to dry and follow with sanding to a smooth finish
• The final surface may be primed and painted
• Close lid immediately after use to prevent drying
• It is advisable to perform a suitability test prior to full scale application

Remarks:

• Do not use to fill plastics or metals
• Do not apply in temperatures (ambient and surface) below 5oC
• Not suitable for repairs to permanently wet areas
